PUPPY CONTRACT
CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
This puppy/dog is guaranteed to be free of disease and defect, and does not appear clinically ill from parasitic infestions. Newly purchased puppy/dog must be taken to a licensed veterinarian within 14 days of purchase. Within 14 days of purchase, if a licensed veterinarian determines that the puppy/dog to be unfit for purchase due to illness or the presence of symptoms of a contagious or infectious disease, or if, within 180 days of purchase, a licensed veterinarian certifies your puppy/dog to be unfit for purchase due to a congenital malformation which adversely affects the health of the puppy/dog, you (the buyer) have the right to return the puppy/dog and receive a refund of the purchase price, or exchange for one of equal value, at once, or when one is available, or retain the puppy/dog and receive reimbursement for veterinary services for attempting to cure the animal which shall not exceed the purchase price of the puppy/dog. Such reimbursements shall not include costs of initial vet exam, fees, and diagnostic fees not related to vets certification that the puppy/ dog is unfit for purchase. A puppy/ dog may not be found unfit for puchase on account of an ingury sustained or illness contracted subsequent to the buyer taking possession thereof. Within 3 days of a vets certification of puppy/dog is unfit for purchase, you (the buyer) must notify us (the seller) in writing. The seller has the right to require the buyer to produce the puppy/dog for examination by a licensed veterinarian of the seller's choice.
Buyer agrees to keep the puppy/dog current on worming, immunizations, NuVet Plus Vitamins, and medical care it might need. This puppy is sold as a pet. There is no guarantee for the adult disposition, confirmation, or breeding ability of the puppy. There is no way to determine the exact adult size of the puppy, (we can only make estimates based on the size of the parents and grandparents) therefore we cannot guarantee the puppy’s adult size. Also we cannot determine the amount of shedding the puppy/dog might have so we cannot guarantee it will be even light shedding. The buyer assumes responsibility for this puppy after leaving premises including, but not limited to medical expenses, mortality (including injuries), landlord disapproval, allergies, disagreement of a family member.
DEPOSIT
The NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due within 3 days of the date of this contract. The deposit must be a US POSTAL MONEY ORDER. If the puppy is picked out in person the deposit must be in cash that same day. The balance on the puppy must be paid by 8 weeks of age with a US Postal Money Order (if by mail) or CASH (if in person). If the balance is not paid by 8 weeks of age the seller reserves the right to place the puppy up for sale. If the puppy is older than 8 weeks of age it must be paid in full with a US Postal Money Order (if by mail ) or CASH (if in person) and picked up by or the seller may place if for sale.
